The Department of Christmas Affairs (DCA) has an opportunity for a dedicated logistics professional to join its Reindeer Gift Delivery team.
The DCA operates an extensive network of magical flying reindeer to help Santa deliver gifts all over the world. To support and maintain this network, we need a high performing team of logistics, transportation, and reindeer wranglers.
As a Logistics Support Officer you’ll be responsible for ensuring that gifts are properly tagged, organised and stored to allow for their smooth transportation and delivery at Christmas time.
You’ll help to plan, implement and control the efficient, effective forward and reverse flow and storage of gifts and related assets between their point of origin and final destinations.
You’ll also assist our reindeer wranglers to efficiently allocate resources, ensuring all reindeer food, supplies and accessories remain at adequate levels at each reindeer depot to ensure our reindeer supply distribution network is always kept well supplied and ready to move.

Selection Criteria
- Have the ability to work collaboratively and operate effectively in a small team environment that has significant and diverse demands on their time.
- Liaise with senior executives to deliver quality outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in providing accurate, timely and appropriate advice and updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of and compliance with the North Pole Government’s Service Standards and Service Design and Delivery Process to deliver outcomes that align to strategic objectives.
